Collaborative Installation with Gera Lozano
Chalk the Block, El Paso Texas
This project which was commissioned by Parker Aleman was installed for the City of El Paso, Texas annual Art Festival “Chalk the Block”. It was installed in a vacant department store in downtown El Paso and had entrances on either side of the block width-wise. It utilized custom projections by Gera Lozano and video artist Mike Root of Santa Fe NM, and audio recording and design by musician and digital artist Charles Stanyan. My part was the design, installation and suspension of the tunnel and cylindrical room in the center. I also coordinated the video works and audio from Mike Root and Charles Stanyan.
